General Terms and Conditions for Household Goods Moving and Relocation Services and Storage & The Liability of the Mover according to the HGB (German Commercial Code)

When transporting and storing removal goods, we work exclusively in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for Removals and Storage and the associated liability information.

 

General Terms and Conditions of Storage of the German Furniture Removal Industry (ALB)

The General Terms and Conditions of Storage of the German Furniture Removal Industry (ALB) apply to the storage of non-consumer removal goods.

 

AGB-Akten

When storing and digitizing files, we work on the basis of the AGB-Akten.

 

The German Freight Forwarders’ Standard Terms and Conditions & General terms and
conditions of logistics-services providers

In all other cases, we work exclusively on the basis of the German Freight Forwarders' Standard Terms and Conditions 2017 - (ADSp 2017) and, insofar as these do not apply to the provision of logistics services - in accordance with the Logistics General Terms and Conditions, as of March 2006.

Note: The ADSp 2017 deviate (in clause 23) from the law with regard to the maximum liability amount for damage to goods (Section 431 of the German Commercial Code (HGB)) by limiting liability to 2 SDR/kg in the case of multimodal transports including carriage by sea and in the case of an unknown place of damage, and otherwise additionally limiting the standard liability of 8.33 SDR/kg to 1.25 million euros per damage event and 2.5 million euros per damage event, but at least 2 SDR/kg.

 

Place of performance and jurisdiction is Stuttgart (Paul v. Maur GmbH) or Dresden (Paul v. Maur GmbH Internationale Spedition).
